Top 5 Hank Zipzer Moments From Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver

In A Brand-New Me!, Hank experiences one of his greatest accomplishments—he graduates from fifth grade and moves on to middle school. The road leading up to this triumphant moment has been filled with wonderful escapades, laughs, and memories. In true Hank style, we thought we'd share our top five favorite hilarious Hank Zipzer moments with you.

  1. Hank's attempt to hide his report card from his parents takes a delicatessen turn when it's accidentally ground into salami. Will some unsuspecting customer eat his D in Spelling? (from I Got a "D" in Salami)
  2. On Halloween, Hank goes as a table in an Italian restaurant, complete with breadsticks and a bottle of olive oil. He can't even get through the front door without smelling like food. (from My Dog's a Scaredy-Cat)
  3. When Hank builds a paper-maché version of Niagara Falls for his "What I Did Last Summer" essay, he floods the classroom and creates a floating tuna sandwich that lands under Principal Love's shoe! (from Niagara Falls, or Does It?)
  4. When Hank takes apart the television cable box, his sister's pet iguana (that she wears like a scarf around her neck) lays 49 eggs in it. That is not good because Dad is on his way home to watch Jeopardy! (from Day of the Iguana)
  5. Hank gets the leading role playing the King in The King and I. He's loving the spotlight until Nick the Tick, the class bully, pulls off Hank's belt and causes his royal trousers to drop to his shoes, showing the world whether he's a boxer or a briefs kind of guy. (from The Curtain Went Up, My Pants Fell Down)
  6. Hank's new baby brother arrives early, and he has to rush back from a Vermont mountaintop in the middle of a blizzard. The only available form of transportation is a van filled with nine circus contortionists who form a pyramid, two end tables, and a wheel to make room for the family. (from Dump Trucks and Dogsleds)

Oh, by the way, we know we promised five moments and wrote six. Hank can't count very well, and neither can we!
